Style Libraries can be stored on any local or network location, but only one Style Library can exist in a folder. Select the Style Library configuration that best corresponds with your needs:.
For individual users who do not need multiple project-specific styles, a single, global style library may be the best setup. Users have a single Style Library that is in the Design Data folder on their local drive, and all projects have the Style Library folder option set to [Default]. For workgroups that require a single style library for all projects, a Style Library should be located on a common server. The Design Data folder for each user points to this server location, and every project has the Style Library folder option set to [Default].
For users who need a project-specific Style Library, the recommended best practice is to place the library in a subfolder of the project folder. For workgroups, Style Libraries are best placed on a common server in separate folders.

Inventor Content Libraries contain thousands of standard screws, bolts, nuts, washers, pins, and more, that can be inserted in assemblies. On the Installer landing page, click Autodesk Inventor Content Libraries to view available libraries for your product.
Libraries are preselected based on the based on your Autodesk product. Installs Content Center libraries directly on your local computer as Desktop content. Provides the option to install Inventor Content Libraries as Desktop content or as Content Center libraries to be shared on a Vault server. Important: Although Desktop Content can be shared across a network in a non-vault environment, permissions will have to be managed manually across the network.
Desktop Content cannot be installed on a Vault server and shared across a network. If you work in a shared environment, it is recommended you select Vault Server option when creating a deployment, and then install the server and the content center libraries from the Autodesk Vault Server media.
